What if you could knit in your sleep?

The year of the Rabbit is traditionally associated with home and family, artistic pursuits, diplomacy, and keeping the peace. Therefore, 2011 is very likely to be a relatively calmer one than 2010 both on the world scene, as well as on a personal level.
The above year of the Rabbit information was really wonderful to read......the year is associated with artistic pursuits. That's US!! Here's to knitting while we are diplomatic and keepin' world peace..
2) I've always wubbed the wabbit.......
3) Did anyone else notice the crocheted blanket in the SNL opening skit with Wayne's World last Saturday night? I had to hulu it.
4) The denim silk yarns in the image above are waiting to be a summer FO. I have a longish open vest in mind.......have you knitted with this yarn?
5) Finally, there was a story in the news yesterday about sleepwalking.
SOMEONE in our home sleepwalks. As aggravating as it is to protect their identity, I will
complete the post in he/she lingo to save my mother of the year award hopes for 2011.
I worried about that child! So much so that I had to inform the parents of
those having sleepover birthday parties....to lock their front doors in case said child got to sleepwalking at their house. This completely freaked out even the calmest parents.
Much to the dismay of his/her friends, he/she never did sleep walk at a party.
It gave me more to worry about when he/she went to college. Yes, I admit I told the Housing
Director of his/her residence hall. He secretly assigned my son/daughter to a room right next to the RA's. I was afraid they would think he/she was high or something if he/she sleptwalked
one night in the dorm. This served him/her well because he/she and his/her roommate was placed next to very attractive floormates.....
Well the story yesterday said they think they found a sleepwalking gene on chromosome 20. It is believed to be inherited. My mother was a sleep walker.
so, DO YOU WALK in your sleep? Do you know someone who does? Said sleepwalker is a knitter....
oh what oh what if we could knit in our sleep! WE would all want that chromosome 20 variant!

I too wuv the wabbit!! ALL wabbits!!
And rabbits, what is not to love about rabbits!!
Once, when I was sixteen I woke up at 3 AM in my bathroom with the shower running... apparently I had sleepwalked through my daily routine, locked the bathroom door and turned on the shower and jumped in with my pajamas on. That was an awkward situation to explain to my parents :P
I constantly pry W as to what I said/did while asleep, wondering what that says about my subconscious. (Usually I yell at him for things or ask unintelligible questions.)
I haven't had a dangerous sleepwalking episode since freshman year in college - I was in a bunch and I fell and sprained my wrist while sleepwalking. Apparently it was a bad fall - I don't remember any of it :) Apparently there was also a time when I was 6 or 7 that I tried to sleep walk to the park - but my parents caught me. I also left a relative's house when I was around that age and wandered into the woods :/
Anyway, sorry for the long post! :D I have a ton of sleepwalking stories.
I haven't taken any in almost two years because the things I did got more and more bizarre. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with it on a regular basis.
One time I went to go out a window that was over a slate terrace. When I unlatched the screen it hit the small roof over the terrace and woke me up. My mom was a wreck for days - she put plants in the windows so they'd wake me up. Thing is you don't have the same dream (or the same sleepwalk)every time.
