Berroco Vintage hat

Here's Zach's finished birthday hat. Very plain, very grey, very washable. I think he'll like it.

On an October note, I baked some pumpkin bread last week. Today I tried some pumpkin chipotle salsa, Rick Bayless brand.
The salsa is mild and somewhat sweet. I liked it. The neighborhood is getting dressed for the Halloween fun. I am putting a few decorations out myself.

Have you been in a pumpkin mood?

I love it! Sometimes a good basic hat is the one that becomes a favorite! Don't you just love fall? Bring on the pumpkins!

Love a good, basic hat! And pumpkin. Pumpkin is always "in" at our house, but when the air gets cooler and I see pumpkins everywhere... I might need to make pumpkin pasta tonight.

You are getting it done! Knitting right along on those hats! I love the grey--so everyday and so useful. I'm not into pumpkins yet. I guess I'm running behind on everything. The year seems to be getting away from me.

The hat looks wonderful! I'm afraid there are no pumpkin lovers here... except for Zucchini

It looks like it will keep them warm, and that's the important thing.

Very nice.
