A sock amid the chaos

It has been a bit chaotic here, but I have managed to knit another sock. I hope to start the match tonight. I am using Opal Superwash in the Color Forbe 2715. This yarn is very easy to knit with because it has some stretch from the 25% poly.

I have considered trying to get to the same point in the yarn to start the second sock, but have decided they are just as cute when not matched. I hate to waste the yarn that would be involved in matching.

I feel like there hasn't been too much in my control lately, so it is good to make my own choice in this simple matter. Even the tiniest amount of control helps!

Hope the chaos settles soon! I love the sock--beautiful colors so the second sock will be just as pretty no matter where you start on the yarn.

Hope what ever chaos is keeping you busy isn't too bad. The sock is adorable. And yes, non-matching are just as cute - and quite appropriate for chaotic times!!

When your life gives you chaos you need your pretend friends, we are here for you, or there for you, or somewhere for you!!! I personally am in the big comfy chair with ottoman and torn LCL YEAH ME!!

Every Once in a While I Might Post

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. When I shoot photos of the moon I think of Dear Teresa.  Gone too soon. She took fabulous moon pictures.  2. I did not see one shooting star last night.  I only got up for a few moments around 3 a.m.  The local weather guy said he saw a few quick faint ones.   3. How can I can have one grown child in Oklahoma under flood watch, and One Child in Mexico under hurricane watch?  On the same day.  Tis true.  4. Insufficient Information

Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
