Remember Abby's dilemna?

So many of you had helpful ideas for Abby when she ran across some stripes issues on the front portion of her vest.

She decided to knit the front in a lovely complimentary color in brown. I like that it isn't a matching color. The colors chosen compliment ALL the colors of the back. She also knit a matching hat for the gift set. I love how it all came together. She will bring it to her dear friend overseas soon.

Great finish Abby! YOU inspired me.

Who inspired you today?

Oh Abby your vest is lovely! I love the colors and contrast. This morning I was inspired by a Knitscene email to knit a capped sleeve, cabled hoodie to wear over a long-sleeved tee for those breezy spring days. Maybe--maybe not! As slow as I knit sweaters it would end up being for next spring.

Clever! I love it.

I haven't been inspired yet this morning. I've felt guilty - Nephew is taking the Knight to the oral surgeon so that my MIL didn't have to cancel her manicure appointment this morning - I've felt indignant (hem... see above?), and I've been frustrated (DMV paperwork for the firehouse), but inspired will come. My blog reading always inspires me.

I only just discovered this today, but I'm very inspired by Pojagi - a Korean patchwork technique. Just beautiful.

Abby's vest is gorgeous.
