Changing my mind.....
I don't think I can concentrate enough to do a sock heel and all the rest. Lots going on here, but I have some clarity now about something I've been praying about and hopefully I'll get my knit concentration back. I have no difficulty with concentration at my work. I go into the mode and am in sharp focus. It is when I knit and my mind has time to wander.....you all know how that is.
This is my blue jean yarn. That is my name for it! It is Araucania Ranco Color 317 if you want to know the real information.
I've been looking for a colorway that reminds me of all the colors a denim can be and this is it. My intention was sock or fingerless.
I started them the last night of vacation in Fla. Then I came home to a whilrwind. So, I did the cuff in waffle weave, and am now knitting straight. I am now entertaining the thought of leggings. I hope that thought passes..
Isn't it funny when you have clarity about one thing, everything else can muddy?
I'm muddy about:
this knit
ordering clothes
where I put the scotch tape I just bought
what training philosophy I want for Cricket
when I should make a trip to visit my sis the veterinarian
if we should go up north this summer
and
if I should spend money on a functional raincoat with hood for Spring.
Are you muddy about anything????
I talk more in the comments!

I'm muddy about the tree work in the yard. The trees need to go, to protect the house from harm, to allow enough sunshine in that we stop the mold problems on the exterior, but I must have Druid blood, because it literally hurts me to hear them fall, and I do believe I'd be physically ill if I SAW one crash.
Right now I'm muddy about everything! We are working long days and I stare at the TV or the walls with my knitting in my lap at night. Things will get better!
BTW--raincoat with detachable hood.
I'm also muddy about what to knit, if it's time to stop taking Pappy to doggy school, and how to get motivated to do the income tax.
I could probably think of dozens of more things I'm muddy about, but it's too depressing.
Hoods are wonderful. I have one and it's great to be able to toss it up on my head when there's stuff falling out of the sky. If it's attached, it's always there when you want it.
Good luck with everything you have going on!
I like the yarn, would make a vest or hat to war with jeans. I don't knit socks anymore and I don't want to think about mittens for several more months.
