The hat that won't unravel!

Here is the new hat. All acrylic. All the time. I think it goes rather well with the new jacket. I finished with a KNOT! (you know who you are...thanks for the permission!)

Tis the season for people to fall off ladders. Let's be careful out there. I've been listening to the scanner for you!
I guess the weather being very nice last weekend, lent itself to seasonal decorating. More than a few 911 calls for 'the
person who fell from the ladder. ' The next day there was a run on chimney smoke in the house calls. Yes I do knit while
I listen to the scanner....
And i have to tell you my favorite from yesterday. A call to 911 dispatched as ' for The weak female." COMPARED TO WHO,
I asked myself? It doesn't take much to entertain me.

Speaking of favorites: I saw a liscense plate awhile back it said, "I C SANTA"
I wish I'd have thought of that! Have you seen any great ones lately?

Funny you should ask! Tonght I saw a license plate with a heart followed by Z2KNIT. I got a good look when we passed, and the driver looked like someone I might be friends with if I knew her.

I just started following a bunch of knitting blogs, yours is one of them. Thanks for the good reads!

I've got to get myself a scanner. My neighbor has one [retired officer] and I just never thought to get one... but it sounds more entertaining than tv.

Love the hat and it looks great on him! If I had a scanner I would get so excited I would probably have a bunch of crazy stitches in my knitting. We saw two Corvettes driving side by side last week. Clearly they were together because the plates said DRAGON and DRAGN KLR.

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Insufficient Information

Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
