It is always easier when it isn't me

We turned Zach loose at college yesterday. I always called him my Morning Glory because he arrived at the crack of dawn. Zach if you are reading this, I took this image of a morning glory at Wagner Farm this morning. Did I do well? i did not use the auto mode! Leaving Zach at college was easier than when I was left at college. Things are always easier when I am not the one going through the changes.

Okay, I am getting misty so lets move on.

Abby was just over with her lace knitting. She knew she had to rip it out. I helped her. Frogging is so much easier when it isn't your knit! I did teach her about lifelines. She will succeed next time. I have no doubt.

Fireman and I can't stick around the house. We do better out. So you'll be seeing some new scenery here.

My log cabin blanket is calling to me. So is my nap. Shhhhhhh. Can you hear them? You know who is going to win don't you?????

I'll talk to you in the comments. :)

Neither of mine would ever qualify as Morning Glory's. They definately come alive (and become more human) closer to lunch time!

Am sure Zach will settle well into college and that life at your end will settle. It's so hard sometimes seeing them reach greater independence. Even though its what we've been preparing them for years, it's never easy. I still love it when DD1 occasionally stays overnight.

Hope you had a good nap;o) Mine was lovely too!
Very pretty photograph:) Hugs Darcy

You certainly knew the nap would win out. Glad yours was great as well. A few more good naps and I'll be on my way ...

Kinda hard, wasn't it? It has been over a decade since dropping off the oldest and I can still get that rattling-around feeling here at home. Maybe I need a good nap?

You're going to take a nap...LOL!

I broke this morning, when I was writing my blog. My dad loved music so much, but with the song of Bobby Bare and Johnny Cash (I still miss someone) tears came. Can't help it...

That is an amazing photo! You are getting really good. I really should learn to use my camera.

I have been knitting all afternoon and I hear a nap calling out to me now. Hope yours was good.
