Things about my Birthday....49 feels just fine!

Warning: Lots of blah blah blah about my birthday. Okay, so just the facts:

Grace sent me a a wonderful box.
Grace is a bestest pretend friend.
Grace included a pretend kitty friend.
Al and I are calling him Calvin.
He has to live with Al now b/c
she cannot have a real live pooping kitty adorable
in her new place. She miss her crazy kitties.

Lesley left this knitting lamb on my doorstep
last night.
She is a sneaky one.
Please don't ask what yarn Lesleylamb
is knitting with.
I want to know too.
Lesley lamb is a really good listener.
I hope I 'll hear her voice soon, but
for now she listens. Without any judgement
just like Lesley!

Some other things about my birthday:

There were purple liies and I'll show them soon.
THere were peruvian lilies.
Woe to the kitty that eats the birthday flowers.

There was a CD of my son with all my
favorite guitar songs he performed.
To ease my missing his playing at home
now that he is a college man.

There was a book from AL;
Good Poems for hard times,
collected by Garrison Keller
I love poetry.

THere was a necklace from Al.
It is kind of funky like me!

There were things from Fireman.
One of the most perfect things
was an Armor camera protector cover for
the rescued camera!
Because, Fireman knows, I will drop it again.
That's how life is.
The camera looks really spiffy with its rubber cover.

There were socks with a knitter making a scarf on them!
I will wear them to work tomorro.

There was more. I'll refer to later.
There was a red velvet cake.
There is still some red velvet cake.

There was Yarn money from my mom and dad.

I got to be with Huck all day.
That is the most important thing.
Huck loves all the birthday singing.
Huck loves a party.

I'll talk to you in the comments. :)

Happy birthday dear pretend friend! What sweet children you have. The CD idea is great. I'll have to remember that one. Yarn money, jewelry, wet suits for in jeopardy cameras and knitted animal friends--what more could such a young and beautiful woman as yourself want. I hope your day was everything you wished for.

Sing lots of songs for Huck the party animal.
