Sanity in jeopardy....must put shawl down a bit

Here's birthday lily from my sistah. My little sistah. Who is way taller than me.
i just love the rescued, armor covered camera..........

Anyhow, I can't take the ruffle anymore.
Darned if I didnt' finish the one side this afternoon and



it looks amazing.
I was hoping it would look wonky and bad and I could rip it out
and do fringe.

But darn it, it looks wonderful.
I dont say that about my knitting much her at IE

NOW I HAVE TO KNIT THE OTHER RUFFLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am putting it down for a few days.
I don't even want to look at how lovely it is.

We all know I am a finisher and this will be
finished with a week or so.
But not now, not today!

I swear in the end I cast off a few thousand stitches....

The tulip is gorgeous! The newly clad camera is taking good pictures!

I must confess that my least favorite knitting task is binding off. If I could pay someone to do it...no, I guess not. At least I would think about it!

Take your time. There's nothing wrong with taking a break especially if it leads to more gorgeousness.

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
