You name this one!

The camera fell hard and hit the driveway. The duct tape and the medical tape may not be enough anymore for my little Fuji.
I don't know when
a) it will be fixed
b) I will get a new camera or
c) I will win one

So in the meantime I give you Tom Selleck. Is that okay?

I'm knitting something with Dream in Color on my new square needles. I love the needles and the yarn. Haven't been able to find a pattern for the gauge I'm getting. I'm going to fill up the circular needle with cast on stitches, and start knitting in the round. Then I'll see what happens. I spent far too much time looking for a pattern that has these basic requirements.

So today you get Tom , and a vague knitting update.

SO whadda you call this post?

I'll talk to you in the comments. :)

What a heartthrob! A gorgeous man! If I see any "win a camera" contests I will let you know.

Name the blog post: "Square Needles and Round Yarn."

Tom Selleck's twinkling eyes and mischievous smile are irresistible, and his voice is divine, kind of gravelly and yet smooth. I miss seeing him in a regular series in a starring role.

I was very sad when LasVegas was cancelled.

Do you really like the square needles? Why? I tried some little tiny US0s out while at my LYS on Tuesday, but I'm not sure I love them. The cable was nice, but the needles where nothing spectacular. So I'm really interested why you are loving them. g
"hunks and clunks"...you know hunk for Tom and clunk for the sound your camera made when it fell. hope you get a new one (camera that is.)

THe reason simply, put is that my tendonitis doesn't hurt when I use them! Hooray. Don't know why, but it is working for me!

Yea! I'm always glad for anything that will alleviate pain. They are pretty and the cables were very nice. Are you using circulars? Do they make square needles in straights? g

I am using circs. They sure do make straights.

I also love Katherine's flexible needles. Great for the joints as well.

Let's talk about the Selleckman. A few years ago he made a movie in our neck of the woods. It wasn't published at the time, but he ate every night at a local steakhouse. He wouldn't go any where else. We go to the same steakhouse whenever we want a great meal. The man certainly had good sense; he knew a darn good thing when he ate it!

My mom died at age 78. When we cleaned out her house, we found a Tom Selleck poster taped to her wall!

Dreamy Needles and Dreamy Guys! How's that... I hope you can get a replacement camera, though it will be fun to see what you substitute for a knitting photo next, LOL.

I name it, "Camera dies young, Tom ages well".

That blows about your camera, my LCD display bit the dust right before Xmas. It still works but I can't see what I am taking a picture of.

I will settle for Tom! That is from one of my favorite movies!! Must have seen it a dozen times.
