When your dreams are Dream in color

then they are wonderful dreams. 3 by 1 rib for my hat. The mandatory purl stitch gets less attention that way. I'm going to knit for a big brim that folds back.

I've salvaged the camera. Again. For now.
I looked at some last night with Fireman, and they just overwhelmed me. The one I thought might be best looks so intimidating to me. Fireman says, "look at all the bells and whistles," and I just cringe. I don't want bells and whistles. The simpler the better.

Just like my knitting! and my life.....
I'll talk to you in the comments. :)

Glad that the camera is working again. Sometimes the simple things are the best.

Bells and Whistles overwhelm me, too. We recently got a refurbished Canon Powershot E1 for $138 at Amazon. It's got the bells and whistles, but it also has an auto setting and a taking pics for dummies setting. Works for us!

I know what you mean about simple. DS bought me a really souped-up camera to take bird pictures and I love it, but I find myself going back to my simple point and shoot Kodak for quick pictures. We are creatures of habit.

The hat is a gorgeous color! Three by one ribs are so warm and cozy!

YOU noticed the shoes......Fireman bought them for me for Valentine's Day! WE are both working, so we celebrate early! I've never had a pair of Privo's. My daughter is transforming me into a shoe lover.....now that I am almost 50! Better late than never..

What a gorgeous color yarn and perfect for the 3x1 hat. I love to do a 2x1 ribbing on my socks for that very same reason ;)

Beautiful color. Reminds me of ripe cantaloupe which I love. Too bad for the Fuji. I love my Finepix and now the memory card door won't stay. Somehow lost one the pins. It's taped for now.

I have two Canons with many bells and whistles. They're both set on Auto, stay on Auto, and take wonderful pictures of almost anything.

I did learn to use the zoom for bird pictures, but I zoom with Auto.

Maybe they include all the bells and whistles for the men, but the jokes on them (the men) because the camera works better on Auto?
