Thanks to all for knitting the hats. I asked that they be beautiful and each one really was. I had so much fun seeing all the hats arrive. You brought me to tears more than once. The last two arrived today and are the not pink hats. The pink one I was saving for the last contest post.

Oh my gosh I hope I didnt forget anyone. I had to be reminded today was Jan 5th, you know . Packages will be mailed out tomorrow. Happy happy prizes. No notes inside as my broken wing isn't allowing for legible writing !

Congrats to all the winners. I mean in this case that I am surprised that so many beautiful hats arrived at your place, to warm the heads of people who need it.

Guess what... we're having deep freeze temperatures here as well :-)

So many hats! So many prizes! Thank you for the yarn heading my way, I'm just happy to have a hat I knit warm someone who needs it. Although the temperature here this morning is in the low 20s with windchill, proving that even in Southern AZ there's still some use for hats and scarves. Congratulations to everyone! And to Kathy for a great successful projectg!

How exciting! Thank you so much for doing this... it was the push I needed to start doing charity knitting (a resolution this year is to knit at least 52 hats to donate to local shelters). You had such a great turn out of knitters/crocheters!

Thank you Kathy for the beautiful Wooly Wonka Lace in Orange tones. The colors (orange, yellow, pink and just a hint of purple)remind me of a beautiful sunset. I will truly treasure this yarn.

Thank you also for the opportunity to be of service to my fellow humans. It was a pleasure to knit those hats and I truly enjoy (and need to do more) charity knitting.

If you decide to do a hat drive for the 2009-2010 winter season, count me in!

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Insufficient Information

Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
