Guest Blogger Marquette Mike Tour Guide
I knew Mike would be no problem to ask to guestblog. We have been making college visits part of the summer. I didn't get that sinking, stomachy feeling when we visited Marquette. Too bad it isn't my decision. The green spiral rib is finished now and waiting to be a Christmas gift.
I have a few questions I've been mulling over while on vakay. Here goes:
Do you like when posts tell you to go to other sites?
Does it bother you that I dont do links, I just give you the addy?
Do you look forward to the images here?
Do you think a contest can revolve around a charity knit?
Is it ever okay to re-gift yarn?
Do you like to see swap packages if you are not a swapper?
Finally, and answer any or all of the above, if you wish: Do you like the animal posts?
I'll talk to you in the comments. :)

Does it bother you that I dont do links, I just give you the addy? **while easier to just click a link, I can cut and paste with the best of them :) **
Do you look forward to the images here? **Being a visual person, images are always appreciated by me**
Do you think a contest can revolve around a charity knit? **sure...why not...if I can have a contest revolve around guessing toes, one can have a contest revolving around charity knitting**
Is it ever okay to re-gift yarn?
**ummm...sure. If you aren't in love with the yarn if you can't use it, gift it to someone who can**
Do you like to see swap packages if you are not a swapper?
**they are an inspiration to those of us who might have other swap partners**
Finally, and answer any or all of the above, if you wish: Do you like the animal posts?
**3 cats, a dog, and 5 kids...animals ARE my life...love em**
2. No I can work without the link.
3. Yes I love the photos!
4. Yippee charity knit.
5. You bet, re-gift that yarn!
6. Sometimes.
7. Give me more dog photos. I can't get enough!
Yes. You visit other sites than I do, and there is so much on the Internet...
Does it bother you that I dont do links, I just give you the addy?
Not at all. Everyone has his/her own method
Do you look forward to the images here?
As frequent visitor... yes. It inspires.
Do you think a contest can revolve around a charity knit?
Of course. Are you planning to have a contest soon?
Is it ever okay to re-gift yarn?
I think it is. Personally I always am happy with yarn.
Do you like to see swap packages if you are not a swapper?
Yes.
Finally, and answer any or all of the above, if you wish: Do you like the animal posts?
Yes, why not? I don't have any animals myself, but that doesn't have to effect others who love their pets.
2. No, I can look up the sites myself if truly motivated; I have the slowest dial-up on the planet and know how hard that linking can be.
3. Yes, your images are fun, witty, and of course I have to see what you have been working on and not just read about it.
4. I think that you can motivate people towards charity knitting with a contest, but wouldn't want it to be a race... just me, though.
5. Yup, yarn's yarn I say, so if it isn't working for you, pass it along to someone else who will treasure it.
6. I think it's fun to see swap packages, though sometimes it makes me realize I have been out of the swap loop for a long while... hmmm.
7. OF COURSE I love the animals! They don't call me Burrobird for nuthin'
Yes. It's the best way to find out about other sites that I don't normally visit.
Does it bother you that I dont do links, I just give you the addy?
Sometime, but that's ok. I can get there from what you furnish. No big deal.
Do you look forward to the images here?
Most definitely!!! That's what makes a blog pop as far as I'm concerned.
Do you think a contest can revolve around a charity knit?
Don't see why not!
Is it ever okay to re-gift yarn?
Sure. I think it's ok. I put all my yarn into plastic bins; and, unless I go back to photos of previous blogs where I posted about swaps, I don't remember who gave me what yarn.
Do you like to see swap packages if you are not a swapper?
I would even though I am a swpaper. Gives me ideas for future swaps.
Finally, and answer any or all of the above, if you wish: Do you like the animal posts?
Love my animals and you do come up with some cute ones of yours!

Great questions. Are the answers playing out the way you thought they might?
2) No, I'm happy to cut and paste.
3) Sometimes. I'm on a limited-bandwidth connection in the summer, so a lot of times I try to load only the most recent pictures and hit stop before the rest load.
4) Yes.
5) As long as you're not giving it back to the person who gave it to you, yes.
6) Yes, they can be inspiring.
7) Yes, but I wouldn't want them to be the only kind of posts here.
2. No, everyone doesn't do the link thing.
3. Always.
4. Yes, why not they revolve around everything else.
5. If it's nice you can re-gift it to me.
6. Doesn't bother me one way or the other. I've seen some very interesting swap packages and I'm a definite non-swapper.
7. Yes, you always make them interesting and funny.
Does it bother you that I dont do links, I just give you the addy? not at all
Do you look forward to the images here? yes
Do you think a contest can revolve around a charity knit? sure it can
Is it ever okay to re-gift yarn? of course
Do you like to see swap packages if you are not a swapper? yes
Finally, and answer any or all of the above, if you wish: Do you like the animal posts?I don't have animals but I don't mind seeing posts about others, and if its too involved about the pet then I skim it and move on to the next blog!!
1. Love hearing about other sites - that's part of the fun of blog reading!!
2. Links are better, but I know they can be a challenge. Addys are just fine too!!
3. You always have the best images - can't wait to see what great photo you'll post next.
4. I think a contest can revolve around anything a contest-thrower thinks it should. And a charity knit contest sounds like a great idea.
5. Sure, I think it's okay to re-gift yarn. Nothing wrong with passing it on to someone who will cherish it more than you.
6. Yup. I haven't done a swap in ages, but I love to see what swaps are going on and all the clever packages people put together.
7. LOVE THE ANIMAL POSTS!!!! Please don't stop them!
Hugs to you!
Does it bother you that I dont do links, I just give you the addy? Nope.
Do you look forward to the images here? Yes, I love to see pictures of peoples projects and homes and spouses, etc. I'm nosey. :)
Do you think a contest can revolve around a charity knit? Of course it can.
Is it ever okay to re-gift yarn? Well, yes because if you aren't going to use it and someone else can, than by all means let them. On the other hand, the orignal gifter's feelers might be hurt if they knew that you had given it away, I guess.
Do you like to see swap packages if you are not a swapper? Yes, since I have never had a swap partner that didn't flake on me it, does my heart good to see that there are actually great swap parttners out there somewhere.
Finally, and answer any or all of the above, if you wish: Do you like the animal posts? Yes, I like animal posts...and kid posts too.
