Seats, sweets, and repeats

Finally, today, on the subject of repeats:

I'm a repeater.
Now that I've joined the cowl craze, get ready. I'll be showing you my new cowls over and over I am sure.
Here are some things I repeat:

Patterns I love and have succeeded at knitting
New recipes I find. My family eats them for weeks until they don't want to see them anymore.
Music. I can listen to the same CD for a stretch of days.
Clothing. I found a skirt I love at REI and I want to go buy 2 more just like it.
THings I forgot I already said. "You just said that, " Im often told at home.
Dreams. I have repeat dreams ALL the time.

What do you repeat? Or am I the only one?

I can listen to the same CD over and over. In fact, I've been known to listen to the same song over and over if it's one I really like.

I have low boredom threshold so I try not to repeat things, especially knitting. Although I am getting better, as I have watched ALL episodes of Go, Diego, Go, Dora, Wonderpets, et all, at least 57 thousand times.

I read the same books over and over, always have.

I rarely do the same pattern in knitting unless I'm too tired or stressed to "learn" a new one.

If I find clothing I like, I try to buy more, too, but only because I hate shopping, and if it works, why fix it? ;)

I re-dream, if not the same dream, the same theme.

I forget what I've heard and said alot. Old-timers....

Pretty Peonies! Nice swap package and theme, too!

Hmm... repeats... I love to hear favorite music again and again, and I sometimes reread favorite books. I will also repeat favorite knitting patterns (though in a different yarn or with different trim, etc. And definitely I repeat favorite yarns!

Oh wow thanks! I thought I was the only person who repeated myself often, and who listens to the same music over and over. Like Bernadette I often reread books I love too.

Oh no, you are not the only one. I'm big on repeating foods and music too. When you find something you love, you gotta stick with it!! Movies make the repeat list too - can't tell you how many times I've watched Sleepless in Seattle. Cry at the end every time too.

I repeat mistakes. The other day, I worked on three different projects, and I knit with the tail on all three. Yesterday....yep, the tail once again. Sheesh! Such pretty peonies!!

Definitely want to know more about the great REI skirt ... and I can read things over & over again and seem to be knitting the same darn face cloth over and over again, so I guess I am a repeater too.

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. When I shoot photos of the moon I think of Dear Teresa.  Gone too soon. She took fabulous moon pictures.  2. Insufficient Information

Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
