THe knit birds answer your questions

This are two new guest bloggers to irisheyes. They flew into my sideyard yesterday and think they know everything.
Apparently they've arrived to bring me knitting fortune. I'll share them with you.

MY first question to them:
How do I add pizzazz to my current fascinating knitting?

"Well," the pink one said, " you have to stop knitting the tissue covers, honey. They are boring everyone to death. "

"Try cables woman!", the yellow one said. "They look so impressive. "

"Oh yes, cables honey. You'll feel like you can fly, once you master cables"

So, I'm cabling. And I am soaring.

What has a little bird told you lately?
I'll talk to you in the comments. :)

I haven't learned how to cable yet, but it's definitely one of my summer knitting goals!

I love cables, they make you look like you know what you are doing even if you don't. I like to do cables on everything even my socks.

Hurray for cables!!! They are easy, aren't they? I remember being so scared to try them - but they are great!! :) Hmmm, I haven't heard anything from any little birds lately. Maybe I need to listen harder.

"Try sticking to something for more than 15 minutes!"
Oooohh, so those are little birds that are talking to me...I thought it was the voices in my head. I never do what those voices say, but I gotta admit that they have some really good ideas. :)

Ah yes, the allure of the cable! If only I could manage to get rid of that pesky cable needle.

Go cables! I love cables.
Birdies are talking every where, but the ones in my backyard are whispering "lace, lace, laaaaacce" ... so I'm in 2 lace KALs. Yycks! What's your cable project going to be?

Cables are a nice change of pace... Just don't make more (cabled)tissue holders... ;)

Hi Kathy,

I like cables (I'm doing an all-over cable sweater right now) but I really love the creativity of color better.

But most of all I LOVE your bird guys. My husband is a very avid birder. These guys may be standing between him and a perfect life. Wherever did you get them?
