Evolution of Today's Post:

Missed the heel turn last night on second sock. Don't kow how it happened. Was concentrating. Even asked Fireman to let Huck out so as not to interrupt heel.

Had to frog back to heel flap. You know the pain. Picking up stitches made on needles size 1's. With needle size 1's.

This mornig, inspired by overripe banana to show said sock in progress. I think the banana makes a lovely mannequin. Admittedly would have photographed better if underripe..

Overripe banana leads to thoughts of banana bread. MMMMMMM.

Missing oldest recipes that I love. They are here somewhere.....Recall bridesmaid friend Julie's recipe that I loved. Remember it had sour cream in it.

Up comes Julie's recipe! The sour cream apparently takes the supersweet batter to a tangy sophisticated level. I found it on Allrecipes.com . It makes two big loaves. Do you know this banana bread?

Must return to sock today and try not to go ......bananas.

Okay, got to know, what yarn is that?!?!

I still use my Grandma's Banana bread recipe. It calls for it to be cooked in tin cans! I use loaf pans of course!

Love the mannequin....and the sock! I've got a sock in progress too....so maybe I'd better go check out the produce market. Maybe a large zucchini or a cuc....

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
