Finished for School

Al's finished with Interweave's Breezy cables in time to start school. This sweater took her a little over a month to knit. She's decided the turtle button isn't needed. I have no doubt she'll find another place for him soon.

I asked her if she had advice to someone else who wants to this, and she said:
Yes. Learn to cable without a cable needle or you'll go crazy.

It fits her great. I'm delighted to show her off to you.
Please leave me your email or blog so I can thank you for your comment.

I am so pleased to see Alison model her sweater. ! It looks wonderful on her. Now about no needle cabling ! I'll have to have her teach me how !

Cabling without a cable needle is wonderful, and so much quicker. Wow, that sweater looks great!
I must echo, "Fabulous!" What yarn did Al use? It looks both tweedy and soft at the same time.

Wow, Ali did a great job on the sweater. There are a lot of cables on that (and I love cables)but I don't think I could give up the cable needle.

Al has done a lovely job. She is so right about cabling without a needle. It's great trick to have in your bag.

Excellent! I am so glad to see it finished as I just started this cardigan and just like Al, I am not using a cable needle, I do think I would go crazy if I did! I love the fit, obviously Al did it more fitted than the model, and that looks nice :) Thanks for the pictures.
