Continental .....you kiss while you dance...or knit

Today's post is my entry to jerrysmenagerie.blogspot.com contest. Jerry has a theory that needs testing. You are asked to take send a shot of your hands first, then your hands knitting continental second.

Well, since Fred Astaire danced the Continental for 17 minutes in the Gay Divorcee, I thought I'd go for the creative entry. Apparently the Continental was billed as "you kiss while you dance" . Now if I was really creative my action shot would have been me dancing the Continental, knitting Continental and kissing my dance partner. My husband, although very cooperative in most instances, would not have agreed to this......would yours?

Ah, that would have been such a funny shot. You know, I think my husband would agree to it!! Of course, he does take ballroom dance lessons with me. We don't actually know Continental though. :)

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Insufficient Information

Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
