LYS for inspiration day

Jen and Wili her silky terrier pup were at the LYS today. I went to 3 Bags Full for a little inspiration. It was such a pick me up. Jen is wearing a shawl in Judi and Co. hand dyed Curly. Wili is wearing his dearest face. Just wait until I show you his Halloween costume. It was lovingly knitted by his grandma JAN in CA. I think I'm going to make you wait for that one. Closer to the Halloween festivities.

The pinwheel baby blanket is soft. It is a bit of a bore though. Between the hurricane satellite photos and the circular construction of the blanket, all I needed was a pizza to complete the round.

Inspiration was found at 3 Bags. I'm whipping up a minishawl (scarf) with Knit One Crochet Too's The Gourmet Collection in Targelette. Pictures to come. I love the colorway. Rich deep browns with a hint of copper. I'll let you know if I think this had good gift potential for the Holidays. 23.00 will be the total.

Thanks, Sweet Kathy, for the beautiful picture of my two babies. I am forever grateful to you for posting this picture. It is so fun to see for me and Erwin, too! BTW--your shrug looks fantastic (as do you). I miss you and Al more than I can say, but it helps to read your blog. Much much much love and giant hugs to you both.

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
