This is Lynn H's fun scarf that she was working on during our nurse knit in. She used Lazy Daisy by Moda-dea purchased at her Hobby Lobby. Very very soft. Very very kid friendly. ******************************************************Speaking of nurses, I'll bet the Oak Forest RN featured in todays Chicago Tribune didn't have time to knit in her record-breaking year of overtime. Apparently she earned 187,000.00 by working OT. Heaven knows she earned every cent of it. ******************************************************Allison was intrigued by a Mobius the other day. She explained it as a High Fashion Babushka. (just another baby legging in the image. Using my socks yarns a little differently) I think that blogger may not have correctly counted all the posts I've written. Cookie Sheet Blanket Contest .....

This is a call for knitters to knit a baby blanket no bigger than a cookie sheet. Blankets will be distributed in the NICU where I work. We just don't get many blankets. We need them. Traditional baby colors will do, but we'd love you to branch out a bit. Use up those leftovers if you wish. You could win a lovely prize. All who send a blanket by November 1st, ALL SAINTS DAY, you angels you, will be entered in the drawing. Here are the rules: Blanket must be made of yarn which is washable. Sorry, Hospital rules.
