I haven't gotten around to seaming Lara yet (I think the fear of it not fitting is holding me back), so I've been working on sweaters for a friend's new triplets. This is the first one for Kailee. Olivia's will be purple for the main color with the pink edging. Ryan's will be a royal blue; I haven't decided on an edging or contrast color for his. The pattern can be found here: Berroco® Free Pattern Cutie Patootie. I also started a pair of pink socks---for me! The color makes me think of spring!

(just another baby legging in the image. Using my socks yarns a little differently) I think that blogger may not have correctly counted all the posts I've written. I've been posting since 2004 so I guess it is possible. I'm not going to go back and count them all. It says this is post 987. So we'll go with it. Al and I have been trying to come up with a contest. I am so scattered lately. So, I'm going to ask a bunch of scattered questions. Cookie Sheet Blanket Contest .....

This is a call for knitters to knit a baby blanket no bigger than a cookie sheet. Blankets will be distributed in the NICU where I work. We just don't get many blankets. We need them. Traditional baby colors will do, but we'd love you to branch out a bit. Use up those leftovers if you wish. You could win a lovely prize. All who send a blanket by November 1st, ALL SAINTS DAY, you angels you, will be entered in the drawing. Here are the rules: Blanket must be made of yarn which is washable. Sorry, Hospital rules.
