Lace class fun with Jan
What's the perfect solution to yearly Cub fan disappointment at season's end? Why its going to class with Jan! Al and I got more than our money's worth as usual from class last night. Here's Jan with Georgia's new lovely lace dog sweater. She brought books and patterns and charts and wonderful lace shawls to inspire us.
Allison's Current WIP
My current WIP (my only one right now-a new record!) . It is a simple double basket weave stitch. I got the idea from Interweave's fall magazine, which features the scarf on their website. The scarf looks so impressive, but is actually very easy. I have been bringing it to school to work on and people always think that I am a master knitter (I have them all fooled!). I can't wait to finish it so I can wear it on these chilly fall days!
