Distracted with Hats!

I happen to LOVE this pattern.
It is free.
It is fun to knit

I have a new baby gift  in pink, and a big sister in purple so far.

I'm working on a denim blue one....for ME!

Gotta love zara yarn.

Tried a date bread from scratch yesterday.
Fireman is loving it.
Very moist.
If anyone wants the recipe just search for one with coffee in it.

Off to the shelter to assist the Vet.
More later.

Oh my CUbs......last night was difficult

Interesting information about the pattern's name. Love the two hats you've knit.

Sad about the Cubbies. Lots of baseball left to play!

That reminds me that I have a hat somewhere to finish. It was in the 30's this morning so hat weather isn't far away.
Go Cubbies!

Cute hats and there ARE more games for the CUBS to WIN!!!! The date bread recipe wounds good.

Cubs, Cubs, Cubs.... I don't know what to say--or do!! Even when I don't watch so I won't jinx them, it doesn't help. I think my first idea, to get into bed and pull the covers over my head until it's over, may be the best plan.

I love your hats. So cute for baby. I should make a few because we are going to have a new baby in the family. I am so excited!!!!!

I though about you when I saw it on the news last night...but it was only the first game, they can still win! That hat is darling. I'm going to look for that pattern as I'm tired of the one I've been using to make newborn hats for the hospital. I think I need to change things up a bit. Thinking good thoughts for your Cubs my friend.
Blessings,
Betsy

Thanks for the link to that cute hat. Do you think it could be made flat and then seamed? Knitting in the round is tough for the newbies at the hospital. Thinking good thoughts for your Cubs and you!

Your two hats are adorable! I have to get more yarn for the little blanket I'm making.. but I'm liking the way it's turning out. I look forward to seeing yours. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
