Random Friday and A Tip

Just had to get this Shark cookie for Fireman.
It is the end of Shark Week on Nat Geo.
No sharks in Lake Michigan!
It is good to be home.
Did you know they have BREW THROUGH"S in North Carolina?
You drive through and get your liquor.  Yup.
Beatles has been asking to join us in our gardening.
I leave his leash on and keep an eye on him.
He stays puts.
I LOVE having a pet in the yard with me.

April, I enjoy your comments but I cannot seem to GET to your blog.  Can you send me the address?

Today's Knit Tip is brought to you by ME:
I often knit stitch markers right into my work.
I only use the big plastic pins that can clip and unclip, to avoid this situation.

Happy Friday !

Hi Kathy. I stumbled upon your blog from Major Knitter...or was it you to her? Something like that...I don't have a blog. Maybe I should? I dunno....I don't think anyone would be interested in a Floridian Cajun Transplant with a husband on dialysis and knitting on the brain that loves 80's country music and scary movies and books. LOL maybe they would....

Love the shark cookie. The National Geographic programs have been stunning!! Sorry shark week is over.

We have drive through liquor stores here in Texas. They look like fun but I've never been to/through one.

I knit stitch markers into my knitting all the time and make a game of getting them out. I like to live dangerously.

An interesting cookie! I love sugar cookies but seldom bake them (let alone decorate them) anymore.

Nearly every liquor store here has a drive-up window.

My family still teases me about those darn Brew Throughs. I was so happy when I saw my first one because I assumed they were brewing COFFEE!

We had "brew throughs" in PA, but we called them Beer Barns.

I have done the same thing with stitch markers! No "brew throughs" in Michigan ( that I know of). Hmmm.....is it in closed containers? Seems to me it could encourage drinking and driving.

Beatles looks happy to be joining you. My cat has decided she wants to venture outside this year too.
