It started out like this: a Log Cabin blanket.....
It started out right after Christmas....
Then it turned to stripes.
I stayed pretty much monogamous throughout the 2 months.
Now I love it. It is for my family. (cats not included)
The specs:
48 inches long, 36 inches wide.
Knit on circular Clover needles size 8
Yarn: Simplicity by Hikoo
55% Merino SUPERWASH
28% acrylic
17% Nylon
( sometimes it is splitty yarn)
The Cost: about a hundred dollars. Each Skein is 107 meters for $6.75.
Black Brown Green Red Cream and a bit of Aqua.
There are a few mistakes, but I hid them well. Thanks for the encouragment on the blanket journey. I think its time for a nap...

Beautiful!!! You have earned a nap and you can curl up under your beautiful blanket!
I hope your nap was under your snuggly new blanket. :-)
It's beautiful!
Quite the treasure
How short are you? Fireman seems likes he's tall enough that 48" won't be a long enough blanket. That being said (I'm just yanking your blanket) I love it! You did a fabulous job and the colors are stunning. g
Woohoo! This is cause for celebration! Congratulations on a job beautifully done!
I'm glad that you changed from the Log Cabin pattern to the Striped pattern. It is gorgeous, and you are going to LOVE it. It's a great finish!
Beautiful blanket!! The colors and placement of stripes are so attractive!! Yep, you're going to love it, for sure! Congrats on the finish!!
I love it, now I just wish I loved my finished ripple.
Hugs,
Meredith
Very pretty! But really? No cats?? Your cats must obey better than my dogs...
It's great! Congratulations on the big finish. I love the colors. I may have to pick up my bedside WIP and join you in finished blanket land. Well Done!
Wow....that's one impressive accomplishment! It's gorgeous.
Nice work! I like the stripes so much better than the log cabin. Great colors, too. I've never knit anything bigger than a baby blanket, so I am impressed with your diligence! It looks great! Enjoy it!
You've inspired me to knit my own blanket. Sorting through my yarn now to find the odd balls I can use. Thanks!
Good choice. The stripes work much better.
I LOVE it so much!!!!!
Very nice! It looks like the perfect napping blanket.
