What I am knitting......

 Finished a child's Capucine.
Not sure who the lucky child will be.....
perhaps a donation.
I have to finish the tassels on the one I made for me early in the year.
I'm up for the challenge of this cabled fingerless.
OH my.
This means I will be doing two things at once.
Soon I'll be doing the cable chart AND
starting the thumb gusset.
SO far I've ripped it back three times.
I wish I'd started with something other than fingering weight but I'm not giving up yet.
I have some quiet time this afternoon and I can maybe finally pass the 10th row of the chart...
Wish me good luck!

4 days till the Cubs begin post season play
Get ready for me to go Nutso on the blog about my CUBBIES

Yes!!! This is our year. The Cubs are looking good for the long haul--actually better than EVER!!

I love your hat. It looks cute and warm and snuggly. And, your cables are going to be beautiful--something they never are when I knit them.

You can do the cables...once you get some rows under the needles, you can SEE what you are doing!

I am so glad the Rays season is over, I am sick of reading about how horrible they are. I haven't watched a game in months, the Bucs are horrible too. Thank God for the Packers!

Love your hat! And the mitts will be fabulous - great color. I'm still not into sports AT ALL, but I will be saying GO CUBS for you.

That hat is so cute. I admire you doing the cabled fingerless.. I have enough stress in my life w/o doing scary knitting. LOL! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Your hat is so cute! And great job with the mitts. You'll figure it out and they'll be beautiful. I have no idea what sports the Cubs even play. Isn't that terrible? I'm so NOT into sports except to be mildly interested how the Seahawks are doing. You can't miss that around here. :-)
Blessings,
Betsy
