I Take IT ALL BACK!

Al calls this her shawl that only a mother could love.
I think it will look lovely on her.
I'm not a fan of asymmetry.
I think she actually liked the knitting part of  it .
Isnt it interesting that you can like it while you knit it and then not like it after ?
She's ready for a new knit up.

Can i just say the Cubs are K I L L I N G me?
I expect us to win it all
at once.
Sigh
I love Buster Posey.
I can't love him this week though.
(for the non baseball knitters: Buster is on the other team the Cubs are trying to beat)

It's true that good knits don't always end up being good garments. I always enjoy knitting sweaters and then hate wearing them because of one reason or another. That is a pretty shawl. I've got my favorite out and have put it to good use these last few chilly nights.

Maybe Al will change her mind about the shawl when she wears it; a good knit is not always a good FO, we all know it! Oh, well.

Yes, it is possibly to live the process but not the end result - been there many times in numerous crafts.

Tell Al to put the shawl in the gift box, and she'll find someone who loves it.

The shawl looks gorgeous to me!

Al's shawl is beautiful. We all have projects that make us wonder why we started them in the first place. Actually, I have a bunch of them. My favorite shawl has a big hole in it where I dropped stitches and had to tie them off later. The shawl is soft, warm and big so I'm not going to give it up. I love it! Someone will love Al's shawl too!

I know what you mean about the Cubs. I told Bill I think I will go to bed, cover my head and not come out until after the World Series and the election are over. Then I can learn to live with the results.

Glad your Cubbies are hanging in there! Al's scarf is pretty (BTW, I have the same blocking squares!); maybe it will grow on her? Or maybe she will gift it to you! It's getting to be shawl weather here, too. We have a wind warning for tomorrow.....
