Labor Day Monday Q and A
A Wisconsin animal shelter gives these cards out. Don't fret about your pet. Isn't this a great idea? Yes or no will do.
I caved. I'm sitting on the donut of shame. My arse is still painful. The air chair.....it helps I swear. Do you sit on a donut, wear a brace, or ice your bones? Yes or no will do.
Would you could you in a chair? Would you rifstone anywhere? Yes or no will do!
A vest is just a sweater without arms? Right? Should I put aside the rest and test the vest? Yes or no will do.
Watching the paddlers on the White River yesterday. When was your last float in a boat?
Trying to make this Labor Day in the U S A , very very easy for you to come and play.

Yes, my knees have been giving me fits for years, but in January I finally went to a doctor and had physical therapy for 3 1/2 months and also got shots in both knees. Eventually, surgery is on the horizon.
No, rifstone for me, but it looks great
Hmm, the vest is totally your decision - vests are fun to knit.
I can't even remember the last time I was in a boat - it's been years, possibly decades.
2. Yes - ice/brace.
3. No - rifstone not yet.
4. Yes - vest!
5. Float - 20 years at least.
Happy Labor Day. Have tons of fun!
2. The last time I had to ice anything was my Achilles when I had overdid it on a run w/the husband.
3. That looks like a cute hat pattern, more like a tam or beret shape though? I'm a beanie girl.
4. Ooh, I like the looks of that vest pattern. YES!
5. The last time I was paddling in a boat was when we took the girls to Tahoe a couple of years ago. We couldn't handle that big boat w/two adults and two young girls.
((hugs)), Teresa :-)
2. No. I just hobble around like an idiot until it goes away.
3. Yes! That looks like a great pattern for handspun.
4. I do like my vests. I wear them more than sweaters even in winter.
5. Years and years. I get very seasick-says someone who lives on the Bay.
Happy Labor Day!
2. Ice --- I ice my hips and shoulders quite frequently.
3. It's pretty --- but, it's not something I would knit.
4. I haven't tried clothing knitting in quite a while. I don't think a vest would be my thing.
5. Last summer --- kayaked Lofton Creek. Will be going kayaking again in October. We are doing a RIVER PADDLE from Florida to Cumberland Island, Georgia.
I use ice on my back quite a lot.
It's very nice.
I have never knitted a vest but I have made lots of sweaters.
Floated a bit last summer but not this year.
Happy Labor Day to you too.
Blessings,
Betsy
