Peruvian Alpaca and Faith

 1. My pal Abby is in Peru.  She sent me this photo.  She is bringing me back alpaca yarn.
That's a pal, I say.  Going all the way to the yarn shop in Peru...oh wait, she may be there for some sighting too.
2. I shy away from Religion on the blog.  I'll just say my grandma and mom were deeply devoted to the Blessed Mother. I am too.  She has been so good to us in every way.  This is a photo I took near the Seminary at Techny.

3. Zach got to Mexico safely yesterday.  One day closer to coming back...I'm awful.

4.  I poured sherry over my chicken as it bar b cued last night.
Didn't really taste like it.  Had to get rid of another thing to move. . Bye cooking sherry!

5.  send me good bloggy pal luck.  We hope to move this week.

I hope the move goes smoothly. Best wishes in your new place.

I had to laugh at myself this morning. I'm reading this after I just woke up and I swore I read that your friend was bringing you an ALPACA!!! LOL

I avoid discussing religion and politics in my blog, too, but I feel strongly about both. The photo of Mary, Joseph, and Jesus is beautiful.

Best wishes in the coming days - praying that all goes smoothly.

What a dear friend you have.......going to Peru just for alpaca yarn for you lol. Love the photo of the Blessed family. I don't discuss religion or politics on my blog. I will say, I do talk about doing things at my church though but never preach. I leave that to the person trained for that lol. Politics are also too personal and I haven't found anyone trained to discuss them though lol. Keeping my finger crossed for your move. Might even send up a little prayer for the move too.
Sending lots of good bloggy luck your way. As for religion - I say whatever works for you as long as it harms no other! We are all entitled to our own beliefs and the world would be a lot better place if people could better understand that.

Hoping you have plenty of laughs while moving-it's good to see humor in the middle of stress.
My beliefs define me in every way, that said, it causes me to appreciate people and see them as beautiful individuals.

What a lovely friend to bring you something so special from her trip!

I know what you mean about not getting into religion on the blog, but I love the photo.

Glad all is well with your family. Maybe it will be the week - good thoughts and prayers coming your way. :-)

My nephew went to Peru this spring and brought me back some alpaca yarn. It's divine - SO soft, I just keep feeling it and squeezing it and sniffing it. :) It will make some lovely warm hats this winter. Enjoy that yarn when you get it!

Blessings on your move. May all go smoothly, and may you have all the energy you need! And may the cats settle down happily in their new home. :)

I love alpaca yarn. We have several alpaca farms nearby and I always enjoy watching them in the corrals. How nice of your friend to bring you some home. So happy for you that it is one day closer to Zach being home. I understand perfectly. I guess my beliefs on my blog are no secret and I love your photo. Oh, I hope the move happens very soon for you and everyone settles in quickly and happily.
Blessings,
Betsy
