My Mom was Happy Last night. And swap info to come

Happy Saturday.
If summer has you treading water, waiting for a life jacket, hang on.  We're here for you.  I know everyone is not a summer person and some are working hard at just being. So for today, Just be.
You are in my heart.  If my mom knew you she'd have you in her prayers because she knew the pain of being a mom and the hard work and the tub cleanings, and the laundry and the kids vomiting before they get to the bathroom or missing the bucket.

My Joyful news is that my mom was smiling last night and talking up a storm.   I know, I want her to go to heaven, but until then I want her happy.  Last night she was.
So Im happy.

I Loved Jen Hatmakers quick read FOR THE LOVE.
Her positive thoughts are infectious.
Thank you Allison for leading me to Jen H.

So we have 9 takers for our dishcloth swap.
I promise you won't be disappointed.
Its August 6th.
I'll partner you up soon.
Let's have the swaps in the mail by Sept. 1 okay?
Labor day is late this year.
Anyone else want in?

I'm so happy your Mom is in a good place. Daddio has been up and down. I never know what I get these days. I have to sneak out because I don't want the staff to see the tears. I get to the car and have a good cry and then I go to the Waa Waa and get myself something naughty for the long ride home. As healthy as he is this could go on for years. I hope I'm up for it.
I am taking a 2 week vacay right after Theater camp from all the costume and scenery making so it's a great time for me to do some dishcloth knitting. I just picked up some pretty fall colors of cotton.

I somehow failed to read your post yesterday, so didn't know about the swap. I would love to participate, if you need someone to even out the number.

All our lives, our parents want us to be happy, and we don't think too much about their happiness until it is almost too late.

That is great that your mom was happy and talkative. My mom was so "gone" for so long before we lost her that I know how lucky you are that she was talking and smiling. Gorgeous barn in this post. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

So glad you had a good night with your Mom! Looking forward to the swap. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. We are back to the hazy, hot & humid Philadelphia summer. I am so ready for Fall.

Such beautiful news about your Mom!! I will pray that she is happy all the time. I'm looking forward to the swap. Dishcloths are great summer projects! I "collect" barns and love the one in your photo.

Well of course I'm in for the swap! I missed yesterday's post and just read it because we were at the lake last night with no internet. I'm looking forward to sharing more dishcloths with my online friends.

I'm also so glad to hear your Mom had a great day. My Mom was smiling and laughing with us up until the day she went to Heaven. I want to be like that too. A light unto the world as long as I'm able.

Blessings,
Betsy
