Dragonfly and Growth

Today a Dragonfly has been hovering over my kitchen skylight all morning.  I love dragonflies.  This fine art american photo was pulled off gooogle images this morning.  Not my photo.  I do think he represents good luck to me.
Yeah, I'm kind of a magical thinker.....
I admit it.
I usually lean towards everything meaning GOOD LUCK.

This is one of my favorite web links?
Ugh oh my link failed. Well just google WIND MAP USA and You get to see how windy it is everywhere!

I can see how windy it is all over the country.
Cool HUH?

This is an untouched image I shot last night after our brief rain storms.   The sun was setting and they sky was yellow and cool! Did you see it too?  I mean if you live near here of course. ?

I have nothing but fun knit news today.  I finished the 4 cuffs I am giving to Zach's friend for her yoga socks.  On with the green Christmas stocking.

We've got a breeze coming in the windows.  Ahhhhh.

Fireman is racing around doing all his morning stuff and more.
He's such a morning person.
I'm so not.
Yawn.
But you should see me go at night!
Opposites attract
oh yeah!

When are you most effective at accomplishing tasks?
A M or PM?

The yellow sky is gorgeous. I've never seen one but when I grew up in Arizona I saw lavender skies all the time.

I am definitely a morning person. I am up and moving by 6:00am. By 2:00 in the afternoon I am running down and please don't give me a task to accomplish after 7:00 because I'm done!!

Neat image of the yellow sky.. I've seen similar and it's so weird. I'm an afternoon person. My most productive period is from noon to 5. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

The image of the yellow sky is amazing! So is all of your gift knitting. You are on fire lady, like the sky!

I'm secretly grateful you are a non morning person living with morning people too. Hehe. I'm so impressed with them but at the same time ... irritated, ha!

That dragonfly photo and your yellow sky picture are both beautiful in their own ways. I used to be a morning person, but not since I quit working. Now I'm a late morning, maybe 9-12 person. I try to get all of my errands and housework done in the morning so I can knit and read in the afternoons.
Blessings,
Betsy

I learned that dragonflies eat mosquitoes only after moving to Georgia. They're lovely to see around just because they look so wonderful, but they're also providing a community service!

I am infinitely better late at night. But I get too sleepy too early to ever get there.

Your photo is like a painting. I like waking up earlier to get a head start on the day; the day feels longer when it's earlier. But I do like staying up late even though my body pays for it b/c I can't sleep in.
The storms didn't hit us until about 1 am. But they were big and loud.
I've had a few dragonflies in my yard too but I haven't been able to photo any this year.
I am most productive between noon and 2 pm. Before and after that, I am easily distracted.

The windy map site is neat! [ I loved Al's top she knit and she models it beautifully. earlier post] Cheers for your finished cuffs and sock progress. I used to be an early morning achiever, but now at 65 I have noted my morning achievements seem to be later and later :) xx

Wow.....a yellow sky! That is so cool. I am a morning person as long as I've had a decent night's sleep. It may have more to do with the fact that The Mister and the dogs always sleep in pretty late.
We were buzzed by dragonflies all day on our walk to the beach. I have never seen so many different ones. They were all so beautiful.

Did a terrific storm follow that yellow sky? Our skies here have been trending toward gray lately, except for most of today it was a brilliant blue. We are having a very odd summer!I'm not a morning person but I can function then if I have to. LOL

PM for sure. Steve is a morning person.

It works for us. He gets quiet alone time in the morning (well, him and the cat) and I get mine at night when he (and the cat) are sound asleep.
