I tried to comment with just one word and couldn't do it!
Fireflies are everywhere all of a sudden. It's been a window's open kind of day and I am enjoying it immensely. What did we do to deserve such gorgeous weather this weekend?

Humid.

I would love to knit at this time but tendonitis and fibromyalgia have flared and well kind of painful so laying off the knitting a bit.

Please enjoy the fireflies for me, kathy b. I was shocked and saddened to discover that Oregon does not have Cardinals, or fireflies, and in seven years I have not seen any turtles in the wild! Have you tried socks on 16" circular needles, and if so do you have a pattern link? I want to try toe up socks. xx

Wonderful, pretty post. We don't have fireflies here in Colorado (and not but a few mosquitoes), just too dry. But I travel back East this week to the Adirondack Mountains where I'll see them again. Once what was commonplace is now a marvel to me. The stars also are so amazing there, the milky way so obvious and so many stars my jaw drops. There's no other city lights to compete. I love just being surrounded by nature. It's healing and I'm partially there for my Mom's Memorial. But even where she's to be buried is the best view of the valley and when you walk up the hill there you tread on wild thyme, it smells so good. For some reason it was reassuring to see where Ill be one day be (well perhaps a part of me, but I'm planning on the rest of me to be with my Lord.) Wild Thyme calling?
