IT really is Wednesday Folks. Chit Chat here

I have the attention span of a gnat...on a good day.
I cast off the little cotton feather and fan last night.
It is cotton so it is going to shrink.
I'm going to use it as a dishcloth I think...
or maybe just hang it on a hook in the bathroom to look purdy.
Storms and porch therapy yesterday.
HELLO mosquitoes!  Not on the porch, but waiting to get into the animal shelter this morning, they were out in force.

He is a beautiful sight to behold this Fezzik boy.
He's fun to photograph.

Whatcha doing today?

I love the feather fan stitch pattern - it's so pretty!! I'm trying to stay on task today which can be very difficult when you work from home and the numerous WIP's are calling out from the other room....

Your feather and fan cloth is gorgeous. I think you should hang it in the bathroom to be so, so purdy!! I am madly in love with Fezzik, the singular cat.

I love to see, work and feel the feather and fan stitch! Such a pretty cloth-I agree, hang it and adore it! I am still watching grandson so precious little creative time is spared.
I did get to sew for 10 minutes this morning! Yippee!

Sigh. I'm working today. It's okay, except that it is beautiful outside and I'd love to walk or knit out there!

He is gorgeous!
Funny cat story: Daughter just moved into a new townhouse and the first neighbor she met was a guy who showed up on Saturday and asked her if she wanted to see his cat. He had noticed that she had cats and thought she might want to see his cat. Strange, but she grabbed hubby and they went over to see what he was talking about. It seems he has a Savannah cat that he is VERY proud of. Daughter was in awe of this huge monster of a cat that looked just like a cheetah. She said it was the sweetest cat she had ever met. His wife was mortified that he was dragging strangers in to see the cat once again. It seems he does it a lot!

I'm sewing and cutting fabric for quilt kits today. I dread cutting, so I've learned to make up kits to take away the dread when I want to start a new project.

After knitting with friends at the library last night, I walked through a cloud of mosquitos on my way to the car - I detest those flying critters!

Fezz has got swagger! I chaperoned the 8 year old's class to the nearby school where they met their pen pal buddies for the first time and played outside in the big playground. Man it's warm here. I came home tired and turned on the ceiling fan on in the dining area; helped immensely. I'm currently sipping some Lady Grey after pigging out on yesterday's Costco run and getting more tea in.

Love me some Fezz. We met my older twin siblings for lunch and then stopped on the way home to get fresh strawberries and cream to whip for the top.. dinner! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

He's such a regal cat with his mane. I really loathe mosquitoes.

Work and knitting here... at least work allows me some time to knit and that is a thing to be very thankful for!

Very pretty cloth. Fezzik is such a handsome boy. We took breakfast to the park and I started my June socks today.

Gotta love the Fezzik photos. I always enjoy seeing them. Your feather and fan cloth looks great too.
Blessings,
Betsy
I agree Fezzik is a very handsome guy!!! I'm loving your feather and fan cloth! I tried doing that stitch in the round and it didn't work for me. I love the look of it.
We had a nice thunderstorm the other night... I love them! We were suppose to get one last night, but no dice. MAybe this weekend
And Fezzik is so handsome, but you know, I'm partial to the Gingers.
