Favorite Things

These are a few of my favorite things

http://socknitters.com/Tips/heels_by_the_number.htm

This site gives you exact numbers for the socks you want to make. Cast on numbers, heel turn numbers...all of it.
I hope you like it as much as I do.  I bookmarked it ages ago and refer to it often.

Zinnia's.  Throw them into my yard and you have 100% success and cheer in 8 weeks.  I stagger my plantings so they bloom in succession for the August / September colors.
I did have to cover a clump when I saw a tiny bunnybaby headed near them in the garden.
I let the bunnies eat anything else they wish.

Mules.  Love them.  Just adore mules. These are from the latest Sundance catalog.  Love the color.s  I'd choose the aqua or the taupe.  Haven't bit the bullet yet, but oh I'm close

I think I would choose the straw colored mules. They sure are cute (in ANY color).

I use the Heels by the Number site, too, especially when I increase the stitch count on my regular sock pattern.

I prefer my Birkenstock sandals over mules - more arch support.

I have always loved zinnias! My Mom planted them (and snapdragons - another love of mine) every year.... I've tried to have Zinnias in my yard here, but the deer eat them! Munch munch...

Oh, those shoes....I want them all! I love zinnias also. I just bought a 4 pack of itty bitty ones to see if I can keep them alive in my container garden on the front porch.

Such cute shoes, but I'm so clumsy I can't wear mules. I step out of them or fall whenever I try to wear them. I like the taupe the best. Thanks for the sock pattern link. I'll have to go check it out. Oh, and I love zinnia's. They're such a happy flower.
Blessings,
Betsy

Oh sweet, you have bunny babies!! My bunny babies and bunny mamas love my herbs. They will set in the garden and munch all day if I don't shoo them away for a while. Max loves to chase them but never hurts them.

I love mules. They are my summer sandals. I like the rust colored mules. I'll have to check on those.

I will have to check out that sock site. I saw it before on Pinterest but I think my eyes crossed at all the numbers. Now that I'm knitting so many socks this year, I have a better idea of sock construction. The mules are cute.

I've heard good things about H is for Hawk.
I used to live in Dansko clogs, until the doc said I have to wear orthotics ALL the time. But I do have some summer Danskos that I can put my orthotics in!
