I Said I Wasn't Shawl Knitting but...

IF I was to knit a shawl I'd look at this Dot  pattern by Casapinka on Raverly.  I love two skeins that play well together for a whole shawl.   The Dots are p2tog and there is not bobble making or turning.   I like the shape of this shawl too.....just saying
I aslo love her Loop Shawl.
Sounds like I want to knit a shawl...I swear , no no.
Well maybe.
A woman can change her mind...
But not today.

Finally on this gorgeous Friday I will show you a photo from the woods walk we took yesterday.  See, our trees are just leafing out.
I think we made it through winter ....finally.
Happy Friday to All!

I love the dot shawl. Off to look it up. You can knit it vicariously via me.

I like how the dots are subtle and don't take up much yarn. It's still a bit hard for me to get into shawls. I think the main reason is that I find them hard to wear because they have to be anchored to stay and can only be worn certain ways.

Pretty shawl. I'm off my shawl and sock knitting right now. It always comes back though. I love the photo of the woods and that sweet little bridge. That picture is frame worthy.

Lovely shawls. I'm laughing because your post where you mentioned the Mick Jagged shawl found me purchasing the pattern and then the yearn (both of which are still sitting on top of the chest that holds yarn while I knit socks and buy more yarn). I went to Ravelry and checked out Casapinka's patterns - very nice. I quickly shut that window down. I'm going to MDSW tomorrow...can't be buying yarny things today! Have a wonderful weekend. Love your woods picture...wish it would stop raining here so we could get out and walk some.

Both shawls are really lovely. I can see why they're tempting you.

The shawls are calling to you, "knit me, knit me. . ." Come on, you know you want to knit this one - go for it!

I actually adore shawls.. of all the things I've made over the years.. the ones I wear the most are the shawls. I have different colors for different seasons.. I highly recommend you do one.. you won't regret it. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

I am constantly making shawls but rarely wear them, it is a crazy habit.
