Goldfish Socks

I was never too happy with the pooling of the Knitpicks Goldfish pond sock yarn.
I've decided to knit them up with intervals of Goldfish orange.

The fins, or the fringe, is something I saw someone doing at my LYS for Zebra socks.  Her socks were black and white and had a black and white mane.

I kind of like this fun look for a child's pair of socks.

What do you think?

Sock manes! Now, that is fancy my dear. Never before seen here, but why the hek not!

The colors are perfect, and perfectly named.

I've never been able to do the "loops/fringe as you go" thing, so, kudos!

Really cute socks!
I've been trying to get my items to pool- something I'm into right now. But so far, I'm not doing too well - LOL!

That is very cute. I really like that colorway. I hope a child appreciates it! Actually, I think the "fins" will make a young one very happy!

Love that "pop" of orange with the striping yarn. The loops are interesting.
Very cute socks!
Now that's interesting...I've done that loop stitch in crochet but never in knit. Pretty cool.

I love the way the colors look, I might be too practical to appreciate the loops....
