Dress it Up

So I am not a fan of ITO yarn but it is a summer option
so I thought I'd share these shots from my LYS.
I found the ITO to be like dental floss for knitting.
I have a very cool green color sitting in the stash.

Summer heat is here and I Love it.
I'm wearing a Calvin Klein sundress and it feels awesome.
It is full length but sleeveless.
Covers up my Hungarian legs.
oh Wait!
The woman at the RX support hose store said I should not blame the Hungarians.
She says she sees Irish women with very big calves.
She hasn't seen my relatives photos however.
That would sway here, no doubt.

I'll be porch knitting in a few.
Up early for spay neuter surgeries this morning.
Thankfully the Chihuahua mix was not a biter.
They can get a bit snarly with the injection.
On to his forever home now!

Do you wear summer dresses and skirts?

Oh how I would love to be on your porch knitting too!!! It's already too hot for porch knitting today. Maybe I'll do some porch READING!

I do not wear dresses or skirts. I'm a shorts and polo shirt kind of girl.

I'm in a summer dress right now! I still have to dig out the flip flops though. I'm also nursing my first nasty bug bite of the season. I went out to get the mail and it must have been waiting for me. I'm in now for the summer. First the rain, now the bugs. Booooo....

I haven't tried ITO but I have knit with doubled crochet cotton. It makes great dishcloths. Doubled crochet cotton makes great sleep hats.

I do wear skirts, maxis and dresses, with spanx or bike shorts underneath. Skirts are my shorts for the summer. I never wear shorts and only occasionally cropped pants. I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl.

Love sundresses and summer skirts and flip flops. Can't wear flip flops to work though...and given the shape I'm in these days I pretty much wear jeans and shirts to work (luckily we have a casual dress code). But a sundress can be so much cooler than shorts or jeans in the heat of summer.

I like wearing dresses in the summer - comfy and definitely cooler in hot weather. No shorts (in public) for me, thank you!

I love the summer knits with linen, etc.
I wear skirts all summer-they are cooler!

I either wear long pants or capris.. I'm not thin enough for dresses and shorts. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

What is ITO?
I wear some dresses and a lot of skirts -- especially as I get too old to wear shorts. And capris, especially light-weight ones.

I am slowly building up my summer wardrobe. I need warm weather running gear too. I love how ITO is packaged but that type of yarn isn't my style.

I love a good sun dress but have to wear shorter ones and long ones make me look 7 feet tall. I want to porch knit.
