Reading and Knitting

Reading this book about Bears and Rangers in the Smoky Mountains!  It is non fiction and I'm enjoying it.
Short tales of relocating bears and relocating campers too!

I had saved this sock yarn tidbit for years.
Seriously.
Years.
I couldn't toss it and I'm so glad I saved it.
Now it is a darling keychain sock.

Are you reading?
Do tell...

I have a book sitting on the end table. I am supposed to be reading it ............but, mostly I am not.

I am reading some magazines. I am knitting and cross stitching. I am watching too much television. I am on the computer a bit.

I need to pick up that book and get going. LOL

So, how IS the bear book? The little sock is ADORABLE!

Cute sock! I am reading My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She Was Sorry. It is a HUGE book. I've had to renew it twice.

I do love your sock keychains - they are great! Reading The Light Between Oceans which is ok...not as fast as I thought it might be, but lots of interesting facts about lighthouses and their operation. Just finished A Man Called Ove - highly, highly recommend. Laugh-out-loud in places but also quite thought provoking. And, yes, how is your bear book?

I'm listening to A Man Called Ove, which love so far, and reading Books Can Be Deceiving, a library murder mystery, which is fun, and light, and enjoyable.

Love the keychains - you'll have quite a collection by the time you finish all of your scraps!

I'm reading, The House's Money, on my Kindle, but have also discovered a podcast called, Somebody Knows Something, that is interesting.

Good thing you saved that yarn as that made a darling keychain. I'm reading the last of the Rosamunde Pilcher books.. I just have loved each and every one. Her most famous is "The Shell Seekers". A fabulous read. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

What a cute keychain. I'm thinking of using my leftover sock yarn and making a memory blanket. Still debating the pros and cons of it. I've been participating in a Ravelry read along during the past month but for the life of me, I can't remember the book title. I think it was "Amish Kitchens" or something like that. I'm so bad. :-)
Blessings,
Betsy

I'm not really reading. Every now and again I pick up Harry Potter because he's always around. But I haven't sat down with a proper novel in some time now. There will be time, eventually.

That is a cute way to use up sock yarn bits. I hope to start a cozy memories blanket next year as I don't have many remnants right now but will have two handfuls after Christmas sock knitting. Is that book you're reading nonfiction? I'm reading a fantasy/supernatural, Kindle book. It's really good and for grown ups.
Cute keychain! I'm reading everyones blogs....does that count? :-)

The keychain is darling! They would be great Christmas gifts. Yes, I'm thinking about Christmas already.

I am currently reading Epitaph, a novel about the O.K. Corral by Mary Doria Russell. I'm a sucker for western novels like Craig Johnson's Longmire books.

The non fiction Bear book is great. A short fast read with stories from a Ranger's perspective. Most of the bear problems are...people problems. I hope NOT to see a bear in theSmokies!

Love the sock key chain. I am reading the Louise Penny mystery series, but I am falling asleep every night when I try to read so it is going much slower than I would like. A Man Called Ove was my favorite read last year.
Hugs,
Meredith
Such a cute little sock!! xx

Tried to post on my Kindle while we were gone but couldn't. What a cute little sock! I just finished A Man Called Ove and loved it. Now I'm in the middle of All the Light You Cannot See and enjoying it, too.
