Another Sock Finish 2016

Another fun sock finish.
I started this pair a few months ago.
It is a Lux sock yarn with cashmere in it.
You truly feel the softness in each stitch you make.
I made the first one and then needed some color in the dead of winter, so I put them aside for a bit.
Finished them yesterday before the first pitch of the CUBS season.

The weather was so stinking bad this weekend, the only thing to cure the blues was going to my LYS anniversary sale.
I'm already knitting with the Abundant yellow and coral.
Yarn purchases truly lift my spirits without fail!

If you are local and you go to Three Bags Full, you will want to check out my post for Lynnette's 14th anniversary.

It is a bit of a memory lane post.

Finally a shout out to anyone who has left a comment for the first time.  Lately, there have been a few and I appreciate it. All my regulars know I love your comments.
I also love to leave comments on your blogs.
I think I have left a few comments on your blogs that have been epic in length!

I LOVE your comments on my blog. Thank you. Love the socks too. I'm hoping to finish the second sock today in the second pair for Alex. Two pair in about 8 days has my hands a little sore. I guess I'm not used to the tiny needles anymore. Have a lovely Tuesday!
Blessings,
Betsy

Those socks look so soft and squishy. Just right for a cold day, like today, in April. Booooo...mother nature is not playing fair this week.

Beautiful socks! They come extremely close to matching, which is something I can never seem to pull off.

I heard about your horrible weather from the family members there and you get a poor baby for that! I know you have had enough of that. We are 86 degrees today and the weekend was cooler but beautiful for the garage sale we had.

The new yarn is gorgeous. Can't wait to see what you knit with it. Hanging out in an LYS is always a great idea no matter what the weather is like.

I like those socks - an unusual color combination, but one that definitely works.

I knit a pair of socks as a gift once that had some cashmere in them, and you are right - sooo soft and squishy! (Why haven't I made a pair for myself?)

Oooo...pretty new yarns.

The socks look great. Cashmere??? Somebody is going to have some nice, snuggly socks.

Congratulations on finishing a pair of socks. Nothing better than a finished project - unless it is buying yarn for a new one!
Oh my gosh....cashmere in socks....that has to be heavenly! I love cashmere!

I even went back to Three Bags today. Found more goodies.
I have been a shopper since the little place right by the train station.

Very nice new socks - lucky feet! I also always get a lift from a little yarn or stitching purchase. Happy Wednesday!

Those are two, lovely finds at the sale. Yay for sales! Good finish on the socks.
Great socks! I've got a pair on my feet right now - it's a darn chilly April.

That yarn would lift my spirits even looking at it on my computer helps!
