Sock Finish IN Neon

 The snow doth blow...
Tis March In Chicago.
Did I tell you that I accidentally threw the computer out the other day?  Yup.  I was being so organized and getting through piles of stuff, as one does in winter, when I gathered the pile and brought it OUTSIDE to the garbage can in the alley.
Several hours later when we couldn't find it, I said...
"Maybe I Threw it out!'
I could not believe I did this.
There she was nestled between piles of papers in a big plastic bag which undoubtedly cradled her crash landing.
She's fine.
I cannot believe I did that!
My Minnesota yarn purchase is a complete pair of Neon socks now.  I loved the colors and the changes.  I let them be a pair of similar socks.   They are not a perfect match.
I think this is fine considering it is such playful yarn anyhow!
Up Next, Peppy's Simple Shawlette pattern with leftover sock yarns and Val's beautiful gift yarn.
I think they look like boomerangs.
I love how long the ties are.
I hope I like the pattern.

What's up next in your Day?

Nice socks-such happy colors. Up next for me is the couch for a nap. It seems I caught the Grand's colds this weekend and I am more than miserable. Ah choo.

Happy socks! And they make a perfect pair together. Great retrieve on the computer! That was a lucky catch. I do like the scarves. They are very pretty. We haven't had snow for over a month here in Spokane. I even took my snow tires off yesterday. I hope I didn't jinx myself! Blessings, Betsy

There have been many days when I wanted to throw out my computer with the trash--like today! I could say it was an accident and when I'm doubted say with certainty, "It happens!"

Love the bright socks and the cute shawlettes.

I thought it warmed up out your way? Did you get more snow again? Love your sock and the shawls. Next up here is to fight with a sock pattern and then dinner with our good friend on the other side of town.

Yikes! I'm glad it wasn't trash collection day!

Love the socks.
Yikes! Close call with the computer! I just love those neon socks! The snow not so much though. I'm not a fan of snow.

Love the snow, love the socks, sympathize with the computer ; ). I've done similar things and not too terribly long ago!

Great clean-up story! (I'm glad it had a happy ending!)
I am enjoying a good knit on that vest;
in the sewing room another project bag is calling.
The socks are great-I love similar socks, too!
The shawlette is a perfect idea!

I love the boomerang photo! Inspiration for a fun shaped scarf!

Kathy, you are killing me with the computer story. I did that with a pattern. I threw it away in my hasted to reduce my paper clutter, sigh. It was from a book I checked out of the library so I had to check it out again. Anways I'm glad that you found the computer and it's working just fine :) We all keep benefiting :)

March in the Midwest does funny things to your brain, thus the explanation for the computer.
