Smile!

Have you seen Shephard's Wool crazy skiens?
They've been available for awhile.
At my LYS one of the teachers was wearing her cowl
and a student was knitting a hat and scarf.
They both loved the wool and found the color changes made it fun.
I think it is fun to see a few different ways to knit with the same yarn.
It is a bit scratchy in my sensitive skin opinion.
I may felt with it if I had to buy some.

I was drawn to the colors of the Louisa Harding yarn.
If I ever start knitting lace shawls, I'll be buying that yarn.
Why do knit models all looks like they are told to be expressionless. ??
That shawl is a work of art and you, skinny lady, get to wear it for awhile, so....smile!

I have to say that all of you who commented on the Monday Meme about travel and knitting made me smile.
If you are traveling this weekend, be safe and tell us all about it.

Y'all come back now ya hear?

HA! on the models. I think the designers want you to look at the knitwear, not the beautiful models!

I've never heard of the Shepherd's Wool crazy skeins, but I love how they look knit. I must remember that name if I ever get to a knit shop.

Kathy, who makes that Shepherd's Wool? It's not Lorna's Laces right b/c I figured you would have mentioned that name? I don't think I've ever used any of Louisa Harding's! I loved the looks of her fingering line that was used for this latest pattern book. I think the models are expressionless b/c it adds more drama.

Most of the models I've seen look angry or like they really need a sandwich or something.

That wool is pretty, but nah .............don't like scratchy yarn.

I love crazy wool but I make my own. It's the only way to spin. One color is soooo boring.

Gorgeous yarns.. I especially like that last batch of pretty colors. I have to go to a volunteer training session tomorrow and I am so grumpy about it.. it's early and I know everything already.. LOL. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

How about a real sized model wearing real sized things? I would like that much more. Love that yarn.
Happy Easter,

I have some mixed emotions on the Louisa Harding yarn. But I will tell you this, they are very inviting. So many pretty colorways, I have to turn away when passing them at the LYS.

I love everything Louisa Harding -- at least the marketing of it. I have yet to knit with her yarn or make one of her patterns. One of these days ..
