Wednesday words and wisdom

Wanna?
Work on spring and summer. This  is Rain by shibui and their new patterns are in.  This top looks simple and elegant ?

The

new shibui rain fiber is in at my ,lys.
Their patterns look straightforward and dare I say easy.

Want to hear how my sister LOVED her Denver Bronco fingerless?  WOW.  She more than loved them. The yarn was all that others said it was: not great.  A bit slippery.
liked  to twist upon itself
.
So I would never but it again but for acrylic for a fingerless gift it had enough good points.

Onward

Winner!   I was surprised to see the pointer win Westminster last night.
Fun thing

That's a really cute top, but I'm guessing with that open back, you would have to wear a cami under it?

The yarn looks a lot like Euroflax. Doesn't it feel crunchy like the Euroflax?

I like the top, but the front neckline would bother me. Perhaps, I could turn it around and wear it as a vest.

That top is gorgeous. I had one like it, save for mine being solid in closed in the bag. I literally wore it out. This would be a great, swift project --- and you could wear the top either way around!
Pretty pattern - pretty yarn!

Ooo. Shibui is so pretty, I've never knit with it and yes, the pattern is very very clean and pretty. It's one that I would knit but be unable to wear. It would make a great gift! Hmm ...

That yarn is very pretty. That mossy green is luscious. I missed the dog show.. we were watching the Grammys. Some good stuff and some really awful stuff. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

That's a very pretty top. I wonder if you could turn it around and wear it the other way too? I'm glad to hear your sister like her fingerless gloves. Go Broncos! I didn't watch either the dog show or the Grammys. Not even sure what I did! But I know I was knitting whatever it was. Blessings, Betsy

Pretty top for a runway model; me, not so much.
It does look like lovely yarn, though.
I'm glad your sis loved the mitts-how could she not!
Love the top.....nothing like a straight forward and easy pattern. It does look very elegant.

I just want to reach into the photo and touch that yarn. Wish we had a LYS in our village but probably just as well we don't.... Looks like a great top pattern - so simple and elegant.

Shall have to go back and look at the fingerless gloves....

Hope you're having a good week Kathy!
