Things I'm Loving

First off, I loved your answers to my Meme yesterday.  I laugh at the same commercials you do!
I'm so not a fan of pointy shawls.  I LOVE how this one is tied however.   Must remember this.
I'm a bit bored with my diet so I tried a banana baby last night.
MMMMMM.  Dark chocolate.  If you believe Diana they are 4 points.  If you calculate on weight watchers they are 6.  So how about 5?
This dinner from Skinny Taste was surprisingly good!
Ground turkey, peppers, olives, onions, spices and tomatoes.
It was very filling and quite tasty.
They call it Turkey Picadillo.
Al had a cold in Minnesota.  I began to feel it on Saturday and I decided to try this Zicam.  SUCCESS!  I barely blossomed into booger badness!  I was very good about using it every three hours for five times a day.  Wow, I hope this was not a coincidence.
IT really worked.

Finally, I'm not loving my shrug anymore.
I know I know.
I knit on it all through the Minnesota drives.
I would guess I knit a good 10 hours on it.
I am just not feeling  the love.
I didn't frog it yet.
I did start a infinity cowl with some of the yarn though.
I can't wait to get back to it today during my sit time.

Tried anything new lately?
Want to share/?

I'll have to take a look and see if our grocer has those banana babies. They look tasty!

Trader Joe's carries a similar banana/dark chocolate treat - but they are slices of banana coated...so you can eat a bunch of them!!! They are yummy.

I do love how that shawl is tied. Very interesting. Zicam has been a real life saver for me the last few years.

That does look nice, the way the shawl is tied.

I've never tried Zicam. Hm.
Let us know about the cold med thing if you get another one and it cures that too, how wonderful to be able to stop a cold! Don't think we have anything like that over here yet. Enjoy your new project! xx

I totally think the Zicam works! I have averted a nasty one several times!
I am working on a bind off right now; not sure what's next.

Ha, isn't it true that you've got to "feel the love" to continue a project to the very end?!

I love those banana things. I am hooked on chocolate covered mango bars and need to restock the freezer asap.
New? Hmmmm....Oh, yeah. I just had some green rooibos tea from Adagio that I've had here forever and it was delish. Who knew? I am not a fan of regular green tea but this was good.

Those banana things look yummy. I've tried Zicambefore but didn't think it helped. I may have to get some again and have it on hand. I used the nasal spray though and not the swabs. I'm still working on mittens. Mittens, mittens and even more mittens!
Blessings, Betsy

I am a dark chocolate lover, not that I would kick milk out of the kitchen if you know what I'm saying. I'm glad you fought the cold and won. I am dedicated to the war on germs here. The ick nast traveling around is just gross. People have been snotty, gross messes and now we have the allergies to contend with. At least they keep saying they are allergies, but I look at them all very skeptically and keep the Purell close by, ha!

I love that shawl but am afraid I would feel like I was choking if I tied it on like that. Yum with that dinner, and good news about that cold product. All my patients are sick, have been for weeks but I am still holding strong.
Hugs,
Meredith

bummer about falling out of love with the shrug, but it happens to me sometimes as well. I hope you fall in love again :)
