Nothing OF My Own to Show you, Except My Darling Girl

My girl turns 28 this week!
She's taught me so much.
My children, (like yours,)  are adored by us.
Here she is in Minnesota with us and with my sister's dog.
Miss you baby girl!
If it weren't for Al and Zach we would not know Virginia, the Outer Banks, and Mexico ......for sure .
Maybe it was the full moon, but my mom was awake for our visit last night.  She's stuck in the 80s right now. She keeps asking to see the new baby I had.  She keeps congratulating Troy.
We laughed and had fun together last night.
Perhaps tomorrow I'll have a finished cowl to show you!
In the meantime this teddy hood from Minnesota's yarn shop will have to do.
Oh and this sweater is buttoned up the back.
Mohawk Wool Sweater by Berry on Ravelry.
I'd never knit it, but I love the look.

Did the full moon affect you or yours last night?

Love the picture of Al. She is so beautiful!

I didn't know there was a full moon last night, but it explains why I was so irritable.

How wonderful that there was laughter during your visit. It doesn't matter what year you are in, as long as there's laughter it's all good. Love the picture of your daughter with the dog. She's the same age as my youngest. He lives in Japan and I haven't seen him for 2 1/2 years. Maybe this spring though. That's what my mother's heart hopes anyway. Have a lovely day.
Blessings, Betsy
Happy Birthday to your lovely daughter!! She is the greatest thing you have ever made! xx

Your Al is just beautiful! She's just a couple months younger than my son. How did our children get so grown up? We can't possibly be old enough to be their mothers!

Al is so sweet. It's obvious that your sister's dog adores her too!

The full moon was just BEAUTIFUL last night.

I was watching a movie from the late-50s the other day, and a lot of the actresses had their cardigans on to button in the back. I really like that look.

Isn't it amazing how much our kids bring to our lives? Where would I be without them.
The moon? Darn, I missed it. I meant to go out and look at it. I've had the heebie jeebies all week so maybe that's the reason.
Your daughter is beautiful! So nice that you were all able to have such a nice visit with your Mom too.

Your daughter is gorgeous. Happy Birthday to Al, and Happy Mother's day to you, kathy b. You've a lovely family. I'm glad you are laughing with your Mom. It's good happiness in the world. The moon has made me crazy. I am knitting past midnight with a frequency that is not good for my health, sanity or my family's patience with me, ha!

She's a beautiful young lady. Hau'oli la hanau to her. The Full Moon I guess enabled me to sleep deeply. I got good rest last night and it was much needed.
Your daughter looks very sweet. From all you've said about her and your son, you have plenty to be proud of.

You touch a tender subject to me....a loved daughter that you have to miss too often!
Glad you had some shared time! Love the sweater but I wouldn't knit it either.
