no photos post.

Tis always a big challenge for me to post without my laptop.  Tis on the fritz.  Devoted husband is standing at the Apple Store trying to be patient as I type this.
I bet I could knit the rest of my leftover sock yarn blanket if I stood at the Apple Store.  But I cannot knit standing up and you know they don't put chairs in their stores.
I knit about an inch on the blanket while  we watched the Martian yesterday.  I'll do the math.....3 hour movie equals an inch on the blanket.  You have been there you have done that too. You understand it may be finished by 2017.   There's no rush and it is pretty but you just have to trust me. Today. Sigh no photos

gotta pass along that I love vita tops muffins. The blueberry variety.  Oh and I eat them frozen

I cannot seem To stick to a sock so my plan is to put the current in progress socks on needless im not using and let them take turns.     I only want to knit socks.    I have sockitis.

Fireman just returned alive from th e. Apple Store.  .  The computer has gone to heaven....
Weighing our options. This may cut into the sock yarn budget.....

Oh dear!!! Sorry to hear about your laptop. Hoping to finish sock #1 of Zig-Zagular (I think that's the name of the pattern). Fun, but I am slow with this one for sure. And, I want to work on my Baa-Ble hat. And I keep looking at my wool stash thinking of casting on yet another cat bed...this one for my cat grandchildren - Marcel & Talbot. I think they need a felted bed....

Good luck on getting a new laptop.

I know well the feeling of knitting for three hours to get one inch of knitting! It's good to have something else you can grab and work on that moves along more quickly!! I have one slow WIP that I should pick up again...but still not motivated to do so!

Have fun with sock knitting!!

But just think how fast and fun a new laptop will be.

I just got a new laptop and wow ----- I didn't realize how old and slow my old one was until I took a spin on this one.

Hope you find one you love.
Hope you get sorted soon. Worn out tech is so frustrating isn't it! xx

I trust Fireman is unscathed. And I hope you're a brand new computer owner soon.

Oh, no. Poor laptop. I've been wrestling all week with The Mister's desktop which is also on its way out. My laptop died last year and I replaces it with a cheapo Asus Chromebook and I love it. It does everything my old laptop did except make me crazy.

Sorry to hear about your laptop. I detest the learning curve that always comes with a new computer. I'm thinking positive thoughts for you. I finished my sock yarn blanket last fall. I started it in the early spring and worked on it all summer while we were at the lake. It took forever but I sure love it now. It's lightweight, yet warm. It lives in my car. I'm glad you posted even without pictures. It's always good to hear from you.
Blessings, Betsy

Big bummer on the laptop, but I know there is one out there that is affordable and will still allow for a sock yarn purchase.
Hugs,
Meredith
I just went through the same thing so I know that feeling only to well! Mine crashed just before our big move so it put me out of business for a while. Had to get the move accomplished before I could address the tech situation. After we got here I went with a chrome book and I love it. Less expensive and works great!

Even with a scheduled appointment for the Genius Bar, the wait is substantial at any Apple Store. Personally, I think that is a weakness in their corporate policy. I love Apple products, but their customer service is not always the best.
