Saturday Silliness

In which Fezzik wears a sweater outside.
He put up no fight.
I think he may be a therapy cat after all!!!
Now to conquer the car fears.

In which I show off my new socks again.
See how wide my feet are?
This is why I do a round toe.
Also, yes because I don't have to kitchener then.

My round toe goes like this:
Knit 8 knit 2 together.
knit two rounds straight
Knit 7 knit 2 together
Knit one round straight
Knit 6 knit two together
Knit one round straight
Knit 5 knit two together
Knit one round straight
Then knit
4 knit two together
no plain rounds
then 3 knit 2 together
2 knit 2 together
You should be down to about 12 stitches.
Just pull them through and voila!

Here's the state of the backyard.
Theres critter prints all over the place.
The grasses make a lovely winterscape....

((hugs)), Teresa :-)
Not that I know a thing, but your feet don't look wide to me! Happy New Year! xx

What a great cat sweater. I'm glad he was so open to it. Your feet do not look wide. Cozy tootsies are a must!

What a docile cat! Our two would freak out at the very idea of wearing a sweater.I can sure relate to your anti-kitchener feelings; I can do it only if there aren't many stitches and really, really concentrate. You saved the day on the knotted slippers with the 3-needle bindoff!!!

SNOW!!!! It's getting chillier here so maybe we'll get some white stuff in the future. Kitty looks so handsome in his sweater. I do a round toe too. I don't have terrible wide feet but I just like the look of it. Same with mittens. I don't like pointy ones.

Call me silly, but I enjoy grafting with the Kitchener stitch.

Love the sweater and the thought of Fezzik becoming a therapy cat.

Great cat tolerance; it's the joys of a childhood memory trying to dress a cat!
I like the toe but I always do a toe-up so I will have to think how I can reverse the directions and make it work! I will do it on the next pair!

I am strange. Here is the proof: I enjoy doing the Kitchener stitch. Hint: Check out the TechKnitter's method. It is way easier!

Fezzik looks quite handsome in his sweater.

I cannot believe I've seen a cat wear a sweater. My frodo refuses to look comfortable in a sweater and he will not MOVE. He's like a statue. Have you tried some tasty meat for nibbles just in sitting in the car? or approaching the car? Something so tasty that fear is cast aside!!!

I am captivated by the cat in the sweater. He looks especially fluffy in it, or am I projecting because I imagine him super softness. And I super much relate to the wide toe box thing. I have decided that I like to leave a lot of stitches on before I kitchener for this very reason. Your round toe, no kitchener method has got me wagging one eyebrow in an arch. I must try this Kathy. Are you happy? So many things to knit and yet I'm going to do socks again, ha!
