Moving Right Along

My Gogo Grassy Dream in Color Smooshy socks.
They are going to be for someone with a bigger foot than mine.
I found a you tube instructional that let me skip the kitchener and crochet the seam at the toes together.
I'm in heaven.
This is the Wandering Cat cashmere sock yarn on the winder.
I am waiting to finish the Gogo socks before I cast on the Hibiscus.

Mixed interest in a swap.
I think I'll hold off as the coordinator.
My swap idea needed a bigger group.
Those who were interested were:
Deb, Kim, Linda, Bridget and Vera.
You could swap amongst each other.

That's a nice sturdy looking sock. Just what you need in February!
I'm still in for the swap. Sounds like fun.

Your socks are coming along great! I would be very interested in being part of a swap, but I have health issues right now that are keeping me pretty much confined to home because the doctor won't let me drive alone and I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to for fill my end of the swap.
Blessings, Betsy

How do you like feeling inside with your foot a crochet seam rather than Kitchener?

I missed your post. I'd do a swap!

Proof I am strange: I love kitchnering!

I'd swap too, sorry I missed that.

Anyhow, I am not feeling your crochet seam thing. two things that give me the willies. I believe in you. I believe in the kitchener. You must lock yourself away from the people. and know at what points if you have to pause to pause. Other than that, it's just the set up row that I space out these days. I always have to look it up.

Please share the link to the crochet grafting technique. It sounds interesting even though I enjoy using the Kitchener stitch.

I love a good queue on the sock knitting!

Small swaps are just as much fun as big ones; I'm still in.

Crocheting knit pieces together is the way I was taught, and I'm much better at it than mattress stitching.
Lovely socks!

Loving the socks! Too bad they'll be for someone else, I'd have a hard time giving them away..
