What are you knitting?

 The nieces had Descendents dolls.
I'm way behind on Disney movies.
When you don't have little ones you miss out.
Apparently they are the children of Snow White and Cinderella etc.
How clever to spin a story off a classic.

The Mexican wrestler mask is a bit hit among the kiddos who came to our party yesterday.
Zach's students will love this mask.
Zach returned from Islas Mujeres with wonderful things for us.

The Party we hosted yesterday was fun and furious.
We did not run out of food.
We had just the right amount.
Bacon crack was a huge hit.

We are really good tired today.

Time to sit and knit with my girl before she heads to Virginia tomorrow.  Oh my that went fast.

Are you knitting today? What are you knitting?

Obviously, I'm out of the loop on dolls, too, because I didn't have a clue who they were.

I'm knitting another Baby Surprise Jacket and more bandages: I've joined Dee in Slashing the Stash.

I knitting socks as the year begins and slashing stash a bit too. I like anklets and they are quick to knit and stash friendly, so I am knitting one pair after another until I'm tired of them. At the same time I am looking for the perfect pattern to start the year.

Socks, socks ......and that never-ending blanket.

(The blanket would probably not BE never-ending if I actually picked it up out of the basket and worked on it.)

I had no idea who the descendants were either. You can tell my children grown and gone! I'm knitting mittens. Lots and lots of mittens. I'm making them for a low income school in Spokane for every first grader. That means 99 pairs of mittens. I had hoped to have them done by the time winter break was over but that's not going to happen. Although, hopefully I will be close to the goal.
Blessings, Betsy

((hugs)), Teresa :-)
I've seen those dolls... Disney put them out to compete with Mattel's Monster High (the ones I collect) and Ever After High. They are very cute and I have to remind myself I have enough dolls!

Neither of the GD are much into dolls, so I'd not heard of these two. However, Max is all about Ninjas lately, so I just ordered a sew-on patch for the birthday sweater that I'm hoping to finish before next Monday. Now, if I'd only quit making mistakes.......

I had to trek over to Northern Va this morning bright and early to babysit the Grands while the nanny is on vacation so I didn't get much knitting done. I did a few rows on the sleeves of son's cardi during nap time but that didn't last nearly long enough. I wish my kids had had their kids when I was younger. I am one worn out granny and I have to go back tomorrow!
I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. Those holiday goodbyes are so hard.

If I can talk Mr. Iknead into making the grocery run today, I plan on finishing (hopefully) Celtic Myths.
