Snow Snow Snow...Soft as Cotton

I awoke to a snow covered landscape.
This is my window view.
Perfection.....

I am going to sing the praises of cotton round here.
I love how cotton feels on my skin.
It doesn't pill much.
Now I wouldnt go knitting a sweater in it, but for cowls, for scarves, for the like, it is the BEST to me.

I've seen the cotton fields in Virginia and I love them.

I remember being put in dresses and tights as a child and feeling like I would crawl out of my skin.
Everything itched.
I wore the clothes without complaint but they came off the second it was allowed.
No wonder I don't like to dress up.

I love comfort.
I love cotton!

Lovely shot, Iris. Cotton has great breathable fibers. I have this J'adore sweater I found at Target for only $29.99 and it keeps me warm but doesn't make me feel too hot.
Beautiful1 Looks very cold though! Stay warm! xx
Very jealous of your snow! We've got nothing here!

Cool green background! And, indeed, hooray for cotton.

More snow? Wow......I'd be jingle belling all over the place if we even got a flake. We've had non stop rain since Thanksgiving but I don't mind. Alexa is playing the most beautiful holiday music and that's all I need!

Apparently we have snow falling today in Spokane too, but since I'm at our daughters house in Washington DC, we're having rain, rain, rain. I love cotton too. I love the feel of the softness in my hands While I'm knitting it. Enjoy your snow!
Blessings, Betsy

I am right there with you. Give me cotton or cotton blend and I'm happy. Except for socks. WOOL socks are pretty good too.

Cotton is great for warm weather, but for winter give me wool or wool blends for winter.

Hard to picture the snow scene for me right now but I can admire the visual beauty.
I like to spin cotton and knit with it but nothing will beat knitting and wearing a good wool for me! Thank goodness for choices!

Pretty snow! Only rain here though and today there's another high wind warning. Ick! I like cotton, too. It's nice to have choices!
