A Post put to Carols

 Oh Cotton I love thee.
This is the Reclamation Shawlette/Scarf.
I love this easy to memorize pattern.
Perfect for relaxing knitting during the Holidays.
I knit it in Universal Cotton Supreme.
It's for me.  It is soft and it does not itch one bit.
I have another skein and I will cast on again today.
It can be worn right against my neck for cold winter winds and as a lovely accessory inside as well.
I'm not really doing gift knitting so the pressure is off and I like this approach.
Although, there are 5 days left.....
(We Wish You a Berry Christmas)
These Oreo cookies dipped in white chocolate
were a breeze to put together. (Waltz of the Sugar Plum Fairy)
Zach's students showered him with Holiday gifts.
Some of the notes from students were pretty funny ,
"Senor Boyer, don't break your arm again over Break"
(and their Moms and Dads can hardly wait for school to start again)

Are you hearing Carols throughout your day?
Wishing you the peaceful song of
STILL STILL STILL

I love that berry color! I also love things that do not itch around my neck!
It sounds like Zach's students love him. That's awesome! Sometimes that's what gets you through the day!

Very clever! Yes, I hear carols all day. I think I am going to have to start listening to the classical stations when the holidays are over.
Love the scarfy thing! I can't wait to get back to normal so I can start making things for ME again.

A good cotton yarn is so soft around the neck; it's hard to beat.

I have too many carols that are favorites; I can't really choose one!

Yes, I bet Zach's students have some great one-liners!

I'm off to look up that shawlette pattern! I do enjoy knitting items with cotton...

I'll Be Home for Christmas is a favorite of mine. But since I never get to go "back home" for Christmas - it always always makes me cry!!

You are patient to knit w/cotton, a fiber that's stiff for me and hurts my hands. I really like the berry color. The Oreos are fun. I bought a bag once from Target to let the girls try. I should pick up the TJ version for them.
